27TH MARCH 2012

27TH MARCH 2012 a historical day for my son Mohd Joshua.His scholarship for his stint in SWTAFE College Glenormiston Victoria was approved by the Board here in Malaysia, Congrats Josh.alhamdullilah syukur pada ALLAH SWT. Thank you to all that assist in getting the scholarship and thank you for recognising the family and my 40 years service to the Equine industry.Insyaallah my son Mohd Joshua will strive for futher excellence in the industry.

HISTORICAL 15TH FEBUARY 2012

I put off doing this n3 from that historical date for me when we embarked on that journey to AUSTRALIA to sent our son Mohd Joshua for further studies in SW TAFE GLENORMISTON COLLEGE (2 yrs course in Advance Diploma Horse Management) in Melbourne Victoria.I still have not put in the pictures and the story as we miss him and still not able to write without feeling the emptiness of being away from him.Here are the significant dates to remember and the story and pictures will follow at a later date insyaallah.

15th febuary 2012------Penang to KL (Malaysia Airlines) Stayed at KLIA transit Airport Hotel.
16th febuary 2012.......KL to Perth Malaysia Airlines(stayed at house 58 Matlock Street Julie picked us up at airport)
19th febuary 2012------Perth to Melbourne city (Jetstar)Stayed at Punthill apartments Little Bourke Street)
24TH FEBUARY 2012------Melbourne city to Warrnambool via Great Ocean Road 6hrs (I drove Toyota Rav 4) a breathtaking view of the coastal road.(Stayed at Lady Bay resort)
27th febuary 2012------ Joshua checked in Campus at Glenormiston.
28th febuary 2012------ Josh stayed with us at Warrnambool Lady Bay resort.
29th febuary 2012------ We sent Josh back to college and said our goodbye for now and i drove back to Melbourne with Ina this time via princess highway and it took us 4 hrs.(stayed at Punthill apartment Little Bourke Street)
1st March 2012...... Melbourne to KL and Penang
2nd March2012 ...... 12.25am arrived Penang and 1.20am arrived home alhamdullilah syukur all is well insyaallah.

Never be judgemental (LIFE'S LESSON)

RECEIVED EMAIL FROM MY BROTHER AND ITS TOO GOOD NOT TO SHARE JUST THINK ABOUT THE STORY FOR A MOMENT.....

A doctor entered the hospital in hurry after being called in for an urgent surgery. He answered the call as soon as possible, changed his clothes and went directly to the surgery block. He found the boy’s father going and coming in the hall waiting for the doctor. Once seeing him, the dad yelled, “Why did you take all this time to come? Don’t you know that my son’s life is in danger? Don’t you have the sense of responsibility?”

The doctor smiled and said, “I am sorry, I wasn’t in the hospital and I came the fastest I could after receiving the call…… And now, I wish you’d calm down so that I can do my work.”

“Calm down?! What if your son was in this room right now, would you calm down? If your own son dies now what will you do??” said the father angrily

The doctor smiled again and replied: “From dust we came and to dust we return, blessed be the name of God”. Doctors cannot prolong lives. Go and intercede for your son, we will do our best by God’s grace.”

“Giving advice when we’re not concerned is so easy,” murmured the father.

The surgery took some hours after which the doctor went out happy.

“Thank goodness! Your son is saved!” And without waiting for the father’s reply he carried on his way running. “If you have any question, ask the nurse!!”

“Why is he so arrogant? He couldn’t wait some minutes so that Ican ask about my son’s state” commented the father when seeing the nurse minutes after the doctor left.

The nurse answered, tears coming down her face: “His son died yesterday in a road accident, he was in the burial when we called him for your son’s surgery. And now that he saved your son’s life, he left running to finish his son’s burial.”

YEAR END HOLIDAY HATYAI THAILAND

27TH DECEMBER 2011 INA,JOSH AND ME TOOK A TRIP TO HATYAI FOR FREE AND EASY SHORT HOLIDAY.IT WAS INTERESTING AND FUN WITH LOTS OF PEOPLE AND THE STREETS AND SHOPS BUSY.WE STAYED AT NOVOTEL CENTRAL HATYAI.TOM YAM STILL VERY GOOD AT HAMID RESTAURANT.DURIAN PULUT WAS EXCELLENT. THAI TRADITIONAL MASSAGE AS USUAL WAS VERY GOOD AND FOR RM30 FOR 2 HOURS ITS MASSAGE TIME MOST OF THE TIME. WILL DEFINITELY BE GOING AGAIN GIVEN A CHANCE FOR A SHORT HOLIDAY INSYAALLAH.

The Sultan of Kedah, Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah, will serve as the 14th Yang di-Pertuan Agong for five years from 13 Dec 2011, becoming the only ruler to serve as the King of Malaysia for a second time. The 83 years old, Sultan Abdul Halim elected as the King after the election the first time on 21 September 1970 for a period of five years ending on 20 September 1975.

Today Sultan of Kedah signed a letter of appointment of the as Malaysia's king at the national palace's kuala lumpur. Sultan kedah is king of the 14th as the rotation system practiced by 9 sultans in Malaysia.He will become the first person to hold the position twice, as well as the oldest elected to the office.

ME GIVING A TALK IN SEOUL KOREA ON A SUBJECT I LOVE "HORSES".


A boat docked in a tiny Mexican fishing village.
A tourist complimented the local fishermen on the quality of their fish and asked how long it took him to catch them.
"Not very long." they answered in unison.
"Why didn't you stay out longer and catch more?"
The fishermen explained that their small catches were sufficient to meet their needs and those of their families.
"But what do you do with the rest of your time?"
"We sleep late, fish a little, play with our children, and take siestas with our wives. In the evenings, we go into the village to see our friends, have a few drinks, play the guitar, and sing a few songs.
We have a full life."
The tourist interrupted,
"I have an MBA from Harvard and I can help you!
You should start by fishing longer every day.
You can then sell the extra fish you catch.
With the extra revenue, you can buy a bigger boat."
"And after that?"
"With the extra money the larger boat will bring, you can buy a second one and a third one and so on until you have an entire fleet of trawlers.
Instead of selling your fish to a middle man, you can then negotiate directly with the processing plants and maybe even open your own plant.
You can then leave this little village and move to Mexico City , Los Angeles , or even New York City !
From there you can direct your huge new enterprise."
"How long would that take?"
"Twenty, perhaps twenty-five years." replied the tourist.
"And after that?"
"Afterwards? Well my friend, that's when it gets really interesting, " answered the tourist, laughing. "When your business gets really big, you can start buying and selling stocks and make millions!"
"Millions? Really? And after that?" asked the fishermen.
"After that you'll be able to retire,
live in a tiny village near the coast,
sleep late, play with your children,
catch a few fish, take a siesta with your wife and spend your evenings drinking and enjoying your friends."
"With all due respect sir, but that's exactly what we are doing now. So what's the point wasting twenty-five years?" asked the Mexicans.

I know i am ALMOST THERE and remember you only live but once and i expect to pass through this world but once and any kindness i can show to my fellow humans, let me do it now.Let me not defer or neglect it for i shall not pass this way again.

Young King Arthur was ambushed and imprisoned by the monarch of a neighboring kingdom..
The monarch could have killed him but was moved by Arthur's youth and ideals. So, the monarch offered him his freedom, as long as he could answer a very difficult question.
Arthur would have a year to figure out the answer and, if after a year, he still had no answer, he would be put to death.

The question was: What do women really want?

Such a question would perplex even the most knowledgeable man. And to young Arthur, it seemed an impossible query.
But, since it was better than death, he accepted the monarch's proposition to have an answer by year's end.

He returned to his kingdom and began to poll everyone: the princess, the priests, the wise men, and even the court jester. He spoke with everyone, but no one could give him a satisfactory answer.

Many people advised him to consult the old witch, for only she would have the answer. But the price would be high as the witch was famous throughout the kingdom for the exorbitant prices she charged.

The last day of the year arrived and Arthur had no choice but to talk to the witch. She agreed to answer the question, but first he would have to agree to her price.

The old witch wanted to marry Sir Lancelot, the most noble of the Knights of the Round Table, and Arthur's closest friend!
Young Arthur was horrified. She was hunch-backed and hideous, had only one tooth, smelled like sewage, made obscene noises, etc.

He had never encountered such a repugnant creature in all his life.. He refused to force his friend to marry her and endure such a terrible burden.

But Lancelot, having learnt of the proposal, spoke with Arthur.
He said nothing was too big of a sacrifice compared to Arthur's life and the reservation of the Round Table.
Hence, a wedding was proclaimed and the witch answered.

Arthur's question thus: 'What a woman really wants?'
She said, 'A woman wants to be in charge of her own life.'

Everyone in the kingdom instantly knew that the witch had uttered a great truth, and that Arthur's life would be spared. And so it was.
The neighboring monarch granted Arthur his freedom. And Lancelot and the witch had a wonderful wedding.

The honeymoon hour approached and, Lancelot, steeling himself for a horrific experience, entered the bedroom.
But, what a sight awaited him. The most beautiful woman he had ever seen was sitting by the bed.

The astounded Lancelot asked what had happened. The beauty replied that since he had been so kind to her when she appeared as a witch, she would henceforth become her horrible and deformed self only half the time, and be the beautiful maiden the other half.

'Which would you prefer?' She asked him. 'Beautiful during the day .... or at night?'
Lancelot pondered the predicament.
During the day he could have a beautiful woman to show off to his friends,
but at night, in the privacy of his castle, an old witch!
Or,
Would he prefer having a hideous witch during the day?
But by night a beautiful woman for him to enjoy wondrous moments with?

(If you are a man reading this...) What would YOUR choice be?

(If you are a woman reading this...) What would YOUR MAN'S choice be?

And Lancelot's choice is given below...

Knowing the answer the witch gave to Arthur for his question,
Sir Lancelot said that he would allow HER to make the choice herself.
Upon hearing this, she announced that she would be beautiful all the time..
Because, he had respected her enough to let her be in charge of her own life.
Now..be careful how you treat a woman and always remember:
IT IS EITHER ' HER WAY ' OR ' NO WAY ' !!
