,STARTERS UP,the race to survival is now starting,its time for test blood test MRI,CTSCAN,COLONOSCOPE,ENDOSCOPE,PET SCAN,RADIATION MASK,XRAYS,BIOPSY OF TISSUES,a bite here ,a bite there as the surgeons put it,i went thru it all then the radiation mask,i felt like zorro using the mask then the team headed by my oncologist Dr leong a very strong minded and learned doctor start planning my treatment plan and decisions had to be made as advice came from all corners some say alternative medication,some say accupuncture,some say go to china,some say go to mecca,india,singapore,australia,i know they all meant well so finally i decided thru i think by divine intervention to trust and have faith in my onlogist DR KW LEONG.One thing i know is that if you go thru a tunnel theres no way out but to go thruit and wait for the light at the end of it and in my case i will fight every inch of the way and GOD WILLING INSYAALLAH,and with family and good friends i will be able to fight and win this fight with cancer.I started chemo on the 18th august 08 with a mixture of CISPLATIN AND TAXOTERE, a three weekly 4 to 6 times meaning maybe up to 18 weeks and a radiation treatment of 5 day week of 6 times meaning 30 dose of radiation.At the time of writing i am into my 3rd week of cycle one and holding even though my tastebuds is gone the food looks good but taste horrible metalic and plain water taste like its coming from the fish tank and hair drops alot soon i will be a bald headed male model,pain comes and goes sleep is difficult, but then again i thank god i am still much better than millions of others i pray god to end all kinds of sufferings and i promised DR LEONG.i will help and contribute to helping CANCER patients whenever needed , Dont stop praying for me to give me strength to keep fighting and beat this cancer so that many more cancer people will also fight and win until they find the cure and rid of the the illness called CANCER, till i write again on the treatment and progress thank you all whom have help and prayed for me, I will remember all of you till the day they take me away from all of you.
